Quiet, discrete, and compact are the key components to the NSG Noise Gate Mini pedal - the latest addition to the “SPOT” series of pedals from Darkglass Electronics. Designed for bassists (or other instrumentalists, too) with high gain rigs, this simple one-knob pedal helps to reduce undesirable hums, static, hissing, and other noise. By using its adjustable level, it’s easy to dial in exactly where you want the NSG to do its dirty work filtering out sounds below a certain threshold.
